INK SPLAT - THE ICON OF THE LAMBRETTA GP
The legend of the Ink Splat was born in 1969, crafted by renowned Italian designer Nuccio Bertone, who made a lasting mark in the world of design with his work on many famous Italian vehicles. One of his masterpieces was the iconic Lambretta GP/DL (1969–1971), which he revamped to be sleeker, more streamlined, and sportier than its predecessors. He added a distinctive touch to this model with the iconic Ink Splat, inspired by an ink drop he noticed on the floor while designing the scooter. This symbol was then incorporated into the Lambretta GP/DL, embodying the rich story behind its creation and passing on its legacy from one generation to the next, continuing with the latest X300 GP model.
